Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board was formed on 15 November 2000. Later CSEB has been reorganized into five companies. Among the five companies, Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited – CSPDCL distributes electricity throughout the state of Chhattisgarh. They supply electricity to approximately 4.5 million consumers all over the state. All consumers can use the CSPDCL website to pay their electricity bills. There are two methods for making CSEB online bill payment.
1) CSEB online bill payment without registration and logging in
2) CSEB online payment after registering and logging in to your account
CSPDCL Online Bill Payment – Quick Pay Without Logging In
This is the most commonly used method for CSPDCL online payment. This is the quick pay method because it needs no registration on the CSEB website. Any consumer who knows his/her business partner number (BP number) can use this method for paying the bill online.
What is Business Partner Number – BP Number in CSPDCL/CSEB Electricity Bill?
BP number stands for Business Partner number, which is a 10 digit identification number provided by CSPDCL to their customers to identify each of the customers uniquely.
Where Can I Find My CSPDCL BP Number / Business Partner Number?
It is not hard to find your CDPSCL BP number. Take a look at your CSPDCL paper bill, your BP number will be there.

Visit the CSEB Online Payment Page
Fill up your Business Partner number ( 10 digit BP Number) and click on the ” right arrow ” button.
Fill up the text shown on the image in the text box above and click the ” right arrow ” button.
On the next page, some details including your 10 digit BP Number, name, outstanding bill amount, bill due date, etc. will be displayed.
If you are planning to go further, click Pay Bill.
After clicking ” Pay Bill “, you can see a confirmation window. If you want to pay some advance amount, fill it up in the “Amount to Pay” text box. Otherwise, leave the amount as it is. To continue with the bill payment, click Pay Now.
The next one is the payment mode selection page. There are 4 options available for CSPDCL quick pay.
CSPDCL Online Bill Payment Methods and Charges
1) Credit Cards
Charges / Processing fee : 1.25% + Tax of the Payment Amount
2) Debit Cards
Charges / Processing fee : 0.75% + Tax for Transaction up to Rs. 2000/- , 1.00% + Tax for Transaction above Rs. 2000
3) Internet Banking
Charges / Processing fee : 3.50/- + Service Tax
4) Cash Cards
You can use online wallets like Airtel Money or Vodafone m-Pesa for CSPDCL online bill payment. There may be discounts or cashback offers in these wallets. For more details refer to their websites.
After selecting the payment mode, click Submit.
You will be redirected to the payment page of the payment mode you have selected, complete the transaction carefully. After successful completion, a success message will be displayed on the screen. You can save it to your computer if you need any future reference.
